2024 Seniors: Congratulations!

Class of 2024 Seniors, congratulations! You’ve made it!

We are so happy to have captured some special senior portraits of some of the greatest kids in Northeast Ohio. (and beyond, thanks Ben!) While we mainly focus on younger kiddos day to day, we absolutely love photographing high school seniors!

Early in my career, I photographed seniors pretty much every day and then went on to focus on weddings and eventually babies and toddlers when I created Black Dog Photo Co and then Blush. Now that my children are getting older, I love interacting with the seniors again because they are often older siblings of our kiddo’s friends or amazing returning family portrait clients who have grown up in front of my eyes. This year, I even had the absolute pleasure of photographing my sweet nephew Ben. (and yes, of course, there were tears from the world’s proudest Aunt Sissy)

I love to chat about their dreams, after-school plans, and current high school activities. Wow, these kids are busy these days! So many of these talented kids balance multiple sports, more than one musical instrument, an impressive school load, and part-time jobs. With this dedication, I know they will all go far in the real world.

It’s really fun to find interesting spots for senior portraits based on the student’s personalities. Whether they were looking for a city feel in Downtown Cleveland, the Riverfront area in Cuyahoga Falls, or the beautiful fall colors in Peninsula, we were able to find a special spot for everyone. We always welcome anything that helps the seniors show off their personalities, whether it is incorporating pets, instruments, or even the occasional younger sibling!
