Hello! I am so happy that you stopped by. I have the honor of capturing the most incredible moments for our families. A typical day here at the studio is filled with the laughter of toddlers and the most amazing newborn snuggles. I spent the first 20 years of my photography career primarily as a wedding photographer and originally created Blush as a way to stay connected to my wedding couples.  

Ryan and I spent years lovingly building our Black Dog Photo Co. business together. We loved documenting the most special day of a couple’s life and clients were beginning to feel more like friends than “just” clients. I wanted to keep that connection and quickly fell in love with capturing each and every life milestone rather than just one day in their lives.  

Over the years, I have been honored to capture countless maternity portraits, newborn sessions, family portraits and themed holiday sets. There is nothing more special than watching a family’s story unfold right in front of your lens. 

In addition to my wedding photography, I began as a commercial product and food stylist over ten years ago. As a stylist, I love using the tricks of the trade to create believable room sets or food menu items. I use the same techniques in planning out sets and props f to create adorable and whimiscal sets. 

When not photographing squishy babies and chasing toddlers for their cake smash sessions, my very favorite moments are spent with my own kids. I can most often be found on a ball field somewhere in Northeast Ohio or cheering on my favorite trumpet player and Art Sparks dancer. We love spending time as a family here in Cuyahoga Falls and on our sailboat on Lake Erie. I love hiking in the CVNP with my Shetland Sheepdogs, tending to my houseplants and working in my garden.  Thanks for taking the time to learn a little more about the woman behind the camera.
