Blush Photo is a boutique portrait photography studio offering a custom, full-service experience in our Cuyahoga Falls studio and beautiful lifestyle sessions on location throughout Northeast Ohio. We are conveniently located in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls, just steps from the vibrant Front Street area.
We specialize in newborn, family, and milestone portraits, creating stress-free, relaxed sessions that result in timeless heirloom images designed to be cherished for generations. From light and neutral newborn portraits to joyful cake smashes and meaningful family photos, every session is thoughtfully styled with custom sets for a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
In addition to studio portraits, Blush Photo also offers family portraits, senior portraits, and event photography, capturing authentic moments with a natural, polished style. Whether you’re celebrating a growing family, a graduating senior, or hosting a special event, we focus on creating images that feel genuine, elevated, and beautifully you.

It’s an ever-evolving space, as we are constantly creating new handmade props and backdrops as well as ordering beautiful items from our favorite boutiques. We would love to give you a tour of the studio and let you check out our digs. Due to the nature of our photography sessions during the week, we do ask that you make an appointment for a tour.
We are conveniently located in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls, steps away from our thriving Front Street area and is just a short drive away for families in Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Fairlawn, Hudson, Kent, Stow, Tallmadge and all throughout Northeast Ohio

Hello! I am so happy that you stopped by. I have the honor of capturing the most incredible moments for our families. A typical day here at the studio is filled with the laughter of toddlers and the most amazing newborn snuggles. I spent the first 20 years of my photography career primarily as a wedding photographer and originally created Blush as a way to stay connected to my wedding couples.
Ryan and I spent years lovingly building our Black Dog Photo Co. business together. We loved documenting the most special day of a couple’s life and clients were beginning to feel more like friends than “just” clients. I wanted to keep that connection and quickly fell in love with capturing each and every life milestone rather than just one day in their lives.
Over the years, I have been honored to capture countless maternity portraits, newborn sessions, family portraits and themed holiday sets. There is nothing more special than watching a family’s story unfold right in front of your lens.
In addition to my wedding photography, I began as a commercial product and food stylist over ten years ago. As a stylist, I love using the tricks of the trade to create believable room sets or food menu items. I use the same techniques in planning out sets and props f to create adorable and whimiscal sets.
When not photographing squishy babies and chasing toddlers for their cake smash sessions, my very favorite moments are spent with my own kids. I can most often be found on a ball field somewhere in Northeast Ohio or cheering on my favorite trumpet player and Art Sparks dancer. We love spending time as a family here in Cuyahoga Falls and on our sailboat on Lake Erie. I love hiking in the CVNP with my Shetland Sheepdogs, tending to my houseplants and working in my garden. Beautiful, one of a kind Newborn Portraits are available in our Cuyahoga Falls studio or on location at your home in Northeast Ohio. Newborn sessions include wraps, props and all that you need for a stress-free newborn session. Parents and siblings are always welcome in our newborn portrait sessions. Travel charges may apply for in-home newborn sessions.
Portrait Sessions
Custom-designed portrait session are available in our Cuyahoga Falls studio or on location in Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, Hudson, Stow, Canton, and surrounding communities in Northeast Ohio. Portrait sessions include the following categories:
Event photography includes baby/bridal showers, anniversary parties, birthday parties, event fundraisers and more. Please reach out for a custom quote on your event. Nonprofit rates are available for photography coverage of fundraising events.
